The kingdom of God is simply the system of God’s government in which Jesus Christ is the king and rulerIsaiah 9:6For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.Rev 19:16 describes Him(Jesus) as the king of kings and the Lord of lords…which means you’re a king because you belong to that kingdomIn fact, Rev 1:6 says He has made us kings and priests to His God and FatherThe subject of the KINGDOM of God is so important that Christ wants to pray about it alwaysMatthew 6:9-10In fact, that’s why He came to establish the kingdom. He responded to the pharisees when they were asking about the KINGDOM of God in Luke 17:21 that the kingdom is among you – referring to HimselfIJohn 3:8 again confirms it (let’s read)He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
By destroying the works of the devil, He established the kingdomSo in the kingdom of God where you and I belong, the WILL of God is the key Mat 6:10What’s the will of God? Simply put: what God has in HIS heart and wants to happenThe only person who has access and can reveal the will of God is the Holyspirit and He also guides us to fulfill it per time John 16:7-12, 13 1Cor 2:9-11The Holyspirit is also very important in the KINGDOM of God in fact Rom 8:14 says as many as are led by the spirit of God are sons of GodYou come into the kingdom through Jesus Christ, the will God is key and can only be revealed to you by the Holyspirit. So Christ fulfilled His promise Acts 1:4,5,8 & Acts 2
